Why we love canned wine

Canned wine is having a big glow-up this summer. From now on we’ll be drinking canned wine during picnics, bbq’s, pool days. Just everywhere, whenever we want. But what’s up with the hype around canned wine? Let us tell you why you should be sipping canned wine, preferably a French Kiss ;) 

It's win(e) for the environment

As much as 46% of wine’s total CO2 footprint is due to packaging, and glass comes out worst. Wine in can typically emits four times less CO2 than the equivalent volume wine in bottles. Unlike many other types of packaging, aluminium is infinitely recyclable. Aluminium is one of the few materials that can be recycled back to what they once were, reducing the impact on the environment. Which, of course, is super great!

It's so convenient

Wine in a can is lightweight, cools faster, uses less energy, and is smaller so they don't take up too much space in the fridge- or picnic basket. Maybe the biggest advantage is that you cannot forget the damn corkscrew anymore. With canned wine, you can enjoy wine at its very best, every time you feel like having a glass! Last but not least, this ones here for the clumsy people. There is no risk of shattering when you accidentally drop a can.

We could go on and on about this, but it’s clear that canned wines are here to stay. Oh, maybe an extra advantage of our canned wine is that they are probably the sexiest on the market. Just saying.
